Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs visits PharmaCell
Maastricht, August 25th, 2008. Today Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Maria van der Hoeven, visited PharmaCells’ cGMP facility in Maastricht. After a meeting with prof dr. Jan Cobbenhagen, chairman of the Supervisory board, Maurice Horsten, CEO and René Lardenoije, CTO, she toured the R&D laboratories and cGMP facility. PharmaCell is a leader in human cell and tissue culturing, processing and cell line development. Current developments in the field of cell & tissue culturing were discussed as well as the importance of this field for future medical treatment for currently unmet clinical needs. On her visit, the Minister was accompanied by Mr. Jacobs, Alderman of the City of Maastricht.
